If you need help when we are closed
Patients who require urgent medical advice or attention out of hours (after 6pm until 8am, at the weekends or during public holiday closures) must phone NHS24 on 111.
A nurse adviser will determine whether advice is all that is necessary or whether a face to face consultation with a doctor is required. Patients in the Ellon area will be asked to go to either the David Anderson Building in Aberdeen (at Foresterhill) or to Peterhead Community Hospital where they will be seen. There is no facility, at the time of writing, for patients to be seen in Ellon other than if they genuinely require a house visit out of hours.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
